On my site I have some 'video only' posts. I read on this forum that thin contents are often taken as poor seo approach. So, posts with ONLY video taken as thin content?

If yes, I am going to delete all those posts... but what should be right approach so that it'll not hamper my present SERPs.

Please guide.

Gurus... please help. I really looking for a route to walk on.

If the video provides valuable info for the search term on which a visitor landed in your website then why delete it. In a way people love short interesting videos than reading paras after paras. If your videos are explaining something you could make a transcript of that video if in case you are worried about thin content.

Look its not consider as thin content, Just make sure your videos titles make sense and you have proper categories and your website looks legit not autoblog.

You're not going to penalized for having some thin content. Sometimes it is necessary to have shorter/thinner posts. Deleting them won't really help make a difference. I would just add to them and update the post date.

The videos are mainly Viral videos from YT, added in a seperate category. Those are not directly related to the content of the site. Yes, those are interesting as I found that my visitors are spending good amount of time on those pages and placing some comments.

I am a bit confused what to do with those videos.

Be sure to differentiate each title tag.. check the bounce rate inside google analytics, if they have a very high bounce rate (near 100), you can consider to add a noindex tag or remove them at all

Dont delete videos, but add related content. You could also transcribe if you want.

Hi there. I'm about as fabulous of an on-page SEO guru as you're going to find.

Video-only posts are junk. Delete them from your site.

If a page on your site isn't chasing after a profitable keyword that you have a snowball's chance in hell of ranking for ... delete it.

You have to check if these pages receive any traffic from search engines. If they do, you don't have to worry about it.
Besides, you can remove pages from index instead of deleting pages from the website.

They all have different title tag.
Bounce rate is around 55%
