I have seen a couple of auctions that remove all the adsense ads from the site. When selling a site is it a good idea to do this?

I would think so., If you happen to piss someone off that is asking you questions or does not like your price he may click bomb your ads to mess you up

Yeah definitely remove your ads when you're doing an auction.

Some people are just plain retarded and evil and they'll bomb your ads
just to get you banned.

I always take a screen shot of the ads. I remove the live ads and put in the pic to show what it looked like

Close the Flippa window, open it in another Tab, you will see the Ads :D

I removed my CPA ads because idiots would click on them and get directed to the CPA site and then come back and post negative testimonials they copied and pasted about the CPA site thinking that it's my site.

In my opinion, Flippa should remove the comments section of the auction. Or atleast review each comment or have an advanced filter for them. In the Flippa guidelines they say comments should be neutral, yet most of them on my auction have been really negative, disrespectful, and assumptions.
