I was wondering how to remove this warning from my account on twitter:..

Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content
You’re seeing this warning because they Tweet potentially sensitive images or language. Do you still want to view it?

Is there a way to remove this? Is there an appeal process?

Thanks!!!!

@OP - I t have not found a legit solution yet.

For my acct, Twitter is NOT auto-selecting the checkbox "Mark media you Tweet as containing material that may be sensitive" under "Privacy and safety" >> "Safety"

I have read that some ppl are seeing this box checked, and can fix things by unchecking the box - but, this is not a solution for me.

Best,

thanks for your help, but that wasn't a solution for me either.

Any other advice?

Don't tweet sensitive content. :)

Twitter's image recognition is whacky, sometimes hardcore pictures don't get identified as sensitive content while some softcore pics do. I'm not sure how to remove the warning from the account, maybe delete every and any picture or text tweet, which is marked as sensitive by Twitter.

But why do you want to remove it? You can treat it as a filter by Twitter. If you have an account in the adult niche, all people who interested in adult will just ignore the warning and will proceed, while all those who aren't interested in it, won't proceed. It's not an inherently bad "feature" if you ask me.

Btw here's an article, when it was introduced first: https://techcrunch.com/2017/03/09/t...-profiles-with-potentially-sensitive-content/. If you see what triggers it (even swearing can trigger it), maybe it can help avoiding it.

The warning might be related to Twitter Shadowbanning, accounts with the warning appears to have a Search Suggestion Ban. But all i wanna know is if the warnings is permanent or not...

My account has the "sensitive material" checkbox selected and doesn't give me an option to unchecke it so I would guess this account is now useless?

Ok the warning disappeared from my profile after 3 months. You just have to stop posting sensitive content...

I think the length of the shadow ban depends on many factors like how often do you post sensitive content or how many users reported your account/posts.

At least it's not permanent.

I don't think there is a solution if you are doing adult especially since twitter is cracking more and more on adult stuff I think you will just get it. I just ignore. Traffic is still coming in so who cares. If a guy wants to see hot pics they will click that view sensitive button.
Nope. Your account wont get that warning for posting adult content as long as you have the option "Mark media you Tweet as containing material that may be sensitive" checked in your account settings.

In other words, your account will get the sensitive content warning only if you post adult content without having that option checked, or you post offensive/sensitive tweets (even just text).
