Remove the Lounge post on the homepage

Could we please remove the lounge post on the homepage of the forum?

Too much non sense threads.

I dont hate humor, I just want to see some useful discussions and sharing in the homepage of the forum..

Some of the useful post that needed replies are being pushed down by some non sense threads.

I support this 100%. Nothing wrong with the lounge, but as of now it seems to be out of control. Sad when a lounge post has 100's of replies and a great way of making $$$ has 2 or 3. If they are hidden from the home page it will help weed out the nonsense, but those that still want to visit it can. I think it is a win/win situation.
 
Yeah. Its not a bad idea.
That way the homepage can be more focused on making money.
Those who still want to visit the lounge can still visit it.

I think if we want to relax we should go to lounge, but sometimes I only see pure lounge post on the homepage.

i was going to post it , great idea .

currently there are 90% troll threads in lounge , i am not against them but if any body will want those threads then he can directly go to lounge to read them , it must be removed from home page.

Yeah really good idea - I totally agree on this once, the lounge is still a cool place (reading troll threads can be fun lol)
 
This is a great idea and it would filter a lot of nonsense threads. Hope that I will see it implemented one day.

Or maybe they can do it that we can rearrange the homepage for our needs, so we can remove and add forums that we like and we don't like.
 
+1 from me. Maybe remove BSTs too? They clog up the Home Page equally as much.
 
here's a quick fix.

instead of using the home page you can use the new posts button which is directly under the home button in the top nav bar.

it's pretty much identical to the home page except you can customize which sections show up.

go to general settings in your profile, scroll to the bottom and you can remove the lounge and anything else you don't want.

I agree with the general opinion that 90% of the lounge threads are boring rubbish.

However theres some awful shite in making money,journeys or other sections as well.

I can switch off after a bit of work and come to bhw for a 10 minute break. I refresh the front page and I can literally speed read it in 30 seconds and find a thread that interests me. Im just not sure why its suddenly an issue for people.
