Remove Rip Off Report - Unique Situation?

6 years ago a company scammed a company I was working for. I posted about it on ROR. A year later, the person responded to the report, giving my name, personal address, phone number, and stating "has medical problems." Now, this is on the front page of lots of search engines.

I explored trying to get this removed by stating HIPPA violations but had no success. I wish I could just remove the original post but they don't let you.

DO I need to go the SEO route to push this down on Google or has anyone heard of any other ways? Also, yes, I am thinking about suing.

The best way is just to rank enough pages above it to push it to the 3rd or 4th page.

This is what I meant by suing. I dont want to go this route, but I may have no choice.
