I gave the extra rep. I believe in second chances. If I see OP doing anything stupid again, he's going to be back on neg pretty soon, lol.

.. and the BHW rep thread idiot of the day award goes to: johhnyenglish

Congratulations, stand up and take a bow son.

It seems that this thread helped you. You are already + 40.

Begin rant.

I sign up to this forum yesterday & already

  1. Am accused of having double accounts
  2. Am accused of breaking the rules
  3. Am given a negative reputation point for saying that hostgator is a good host

Can we remove the neg system and we can prevent these children from handing out negative reputations for fun?

OK mister johhnyenglish I have read your posts, and this is a synopsis for you to read and understand.

1). No one accused you of having double accounts, a long time member here simply highlighted a coincidence,
in that (in reply to the viability and attractiveness of Hostgator), that 2 members who had same joining date (18th August)
and the thread was created just the day before (17th August).
There was nothing sinister in that, that member is allowed to post his observations, and you will learn that in BHW,
we are a family type set up, a community of like minded people who tend to look out for one another, thats all.

2). Not sure about where your allegation is about breaking the rules.
First off you cannot PM another member until you fill certain criteria, eg having 15 posts, and you stated the you were sending a PM,
even though the rules are that new members cannot PM immediately.
Secondly, if it was an astute observation about the ratings of a particular BST, then it was perhaps naiive to attempt to highlight that, since only joining.

3). Members here can do whatever they so wish, however, please rest assured that willingly and knowingly abusing the rep system
by those members who do, will result in penalities for those abusers.
(allbeit in this instance fairly trivial in relation to the potential propaganda and implied defense of Hostgator).

I noticed in your OP that you began the rant, but you didn't actually finish your rant? /rant
However, you will notice from the good advice posted above, that you cannot act like a spoilt child and try to change the basic rules and ethos of BHW
within a day of joining a community that survives and bonds because it is very aware of the bigger picture, and - in an effort to avoid scammers and spammers -
you cannot undermine the ethos and integrity of a very popular SEO forum, simply by joining and taking over,
life is not like that, and as you no doubt learn, BHW is not like that either.

My advice to you is to enjoy your stay, read, learn, contribute; and change from within (if you think that anything needs changing), not outside BHW.
BHW may not be absolute perfection 100%, but it is , IMHO, by far the VERY BEST, and we should all be respectful of that fact.

I have posted this for you and other newish members to read and absorb, in an effort to maintain the high disposition of BHW.

Hoping that you agree.

Good Luck and very best Wishes

johnnyenglish, your time can be better spent ewhoring on fb rather than being a reputation whore here.

Tell you what, go on fb, ewhore for a while, find a lesbo chick. And then have dirty dirty chat with her.

Not that I do it.;)

The rep system itself is not bad, but you shouldn't be allowed to -rep anonymously and without explanation. There would be a lot less random - repping if you had to do it in your name and with an explanation attached to it.

BHW most discussed topics since I've been here:

2010: Scrapebox and MNS sites
2011: Google Panda Update
2012: Google Penguin Update
2013: MUH REPZ!!!

I am amazed why you spent so much of time in digging history of a retard?? :o And spent equal amount of time posting the same

You want to know who neg repped you? Get Jr VIP.

Maybe I view things differently than you :)

I do not label someone "retard" and then decide if they are guilty etc...

I tend to look for the positives (and indeed the reasons) why the OP posted his outlook.
Believing in fairness and equality for all, I believe it may simply be a naiive observation from his point of view,
and one which MANY others actually think the same, more because they don't know (through lack of time spent, didn't read rules etc...)
or because they are trying to play some sort of mind games.

In this case, I think it is the former :) hence I posted the advice :)

I tend to give people a chance, and thats all I was trying to do in this case as well.

no not this again.... can we remove this rep remove thread?

so you have been here 1 day and want to remove
the system provided by the owners.. sure thing

also as good will gesture we will promote you
to admin as well..
