I would remove the Envy.
If someone is doing better than you, just be happy for that person. No win if you just envy.

First Thing :- Killing other living beings..
We forget that animals are also living creatures and we should not be cruel to them...
Just because these creatures can not express themselves as we do, we forget that what we are doing to them if someone does to us, we will die.

I personally feel, these natural disasters are the output of Karma we all are involved in.
We damaged the Earth surface as much as we could,... These are all the signs/warnings God or something supreme power sending us to be careful in the future.
Seems, Humans never intended to catch these signs.

I suspect back then money didn't exist before ww2, so I couldn't blame he's choices being threatened as German to leave under devistating circumstances.
But the real threat was the Roman empire their governance and rule set the path of modern era slavery and economics and faith.
Alot of what we have today is based on that rule.
Yes things will get better but not until 2050/2070, and even then sites like these would be dead
