I work for an coaching biz & when you look us up, the second link is a reddit thread with negative reviews. How can I lower the ranking of this link as much as possible? Is there any blackhat way to completely get it taken off? I tried downvoting bots but it seems it only works when a post is less than 2 days old.

Any help is appreciated

Your best bet here is what others will most likely suggest and that's to rank other posts & articles above that reddit link so that it's pushed down.

So, there's plenty of threads you can search through here for information.

My shorthand advice is to create a tiered backlinking system.

You can do this one of two ways.

1. Create a website (or however people access your coaching business) and create a page centered around your keyword with proper On-page SEO. Build backlinks to that link and your website as a whole (homepage links and inner page links).
2. Create social media on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Send backlinks to these pages. You can spam with software to these (GSA SER, RankerX, Xevil, MoneyRobotSubmitter, Scrapebox, etc).
3. Create articles praising your site on the top web 2.0, social bookmark sites, etc and send backlinks to those.

Your best bet is to suppress the bad results with some good content. It will not be cheap, but it worth that. You can ORM agency for that, but it will cost you 5k-10k a month for get some nice publications.

You should rank other Reddit threads that talk good about you thus bringing the negative Reddit thread down.
