I've just taken over a web presence for a small brand that is only a year old. It has a great social and web presence but it also has a GMB listing (no review yet thankfully) which I just to ask you BHW's if this should be removed or not?

It's not a local service and sends products all over the world so having a GMB doesn't seem to make sense - but will removing it harm SEO/Ranking etc in any way do you think? It's listed in the UK so I am thinking it could even be harming its worldwide rankings as big G may be just interested in ranking UK side rather than worldwide.

Did anyone remove GMB from their web presence?

Cheers :-)

Don't Remove it, obviously, it's not helping you location-wise, but it's important to have a GMB it also likes a permanent address proof, and it harming you anyway, so need to remove it also, you can make a strong online presence from GMB account.

Map out areas where most of your orders are coming from.
Build GMBs for all those areas and link your store. See how powerful your Google presence becomes.
