Remove fake Instagram followers

Hello,

When I created business Instagram account for one company, I bought a bunch of fake followers for social proof. I didn’t know that they might have negative influence on the organic reach of the account and now that I know this might be killing the potential of the account, I want to remove them. The problem is that it will be hard for me to manually remove them, so I am looking for something to automate it. Any ideas?

You should seek professional advice before deleting them. My friend deleted them and lost his account.
 
Instagram has been lately removing the fakes from my account by themselves. I've been losing 5-10 followers on my account everyday, when I check the accounts that unfollowed me I usually discover they have been deactivated by IG.
 
Yeah, fake followers can definitely hurt your reach. There are some tools like SpamGuard or Cleaner for IG that can help you mass-remove fake or inactive followers. Just be careful and go slow to avoid triggering any IG limits. Good luck!
