Hi! Is there any one who knows how to delete a footer credit from theme24x7, kindly share it here please. I need it so badly.

Edit footer.php and remove the link/anchor text

But it is not possible. I already did it and it keeps on redirecting to their homepage. I am trying to use the GeekPress template of blogger. Any help?

You can spend a lot of time and effort trying to remove inbuilt scripts inside wordpress, placed there by the author.
If the site is a money one, spend a few dollars and buy a premium template
It will do you more good than hacking a free tempalte that hundreds of other are using

Drag all the theme files into notepad++

CTRL F, search all open files for the code you wish to remove.

Done and done.

Exactly that.Or just pick some official FREE Wpress theme,i bet you can find similar design on some good responsive WP theme which is editable/updated.No hidden scripts,code injection or good knows what,particurarly if that theme you wanna edit was downloaded from some warez site..
