Remove “About this account”

hello
I recently bought an IG account of 11K followers and changed the niche. I changed the account to “Personal” but it still shows former usernames under “About this account”. Is there any way to remove it

There's no way to remove that, IG implemented that thing as a way of letting users know what has been done with that account in the past, something like having a history log of the account.

Oh thanks for the info. It’s kinda weird because I’ve seen accounts with over 50K followers that don’t have “about this account” visible

After a long time they do disappear, if you don't change the name of your account again. But it will likely take over two years.

I just checked mine, and it is showing as "zero" under username changes, even though I used to have another username.

IG is a big mess when it comes to updates, new features roll out very slowly and sometimes they don't reach all users, sometimes you need to reinstall the app or log out and back in your account to get them, sometimes maybe it is not available for certain countries.

Remove “About this account”
