Hey guys,

Might not be news to you, but Mozilla has an add-on called "Better Privacy". Basically when you close your browser it asks if you want to remove the flash cookies (LSO) - works great.

If you do stuff that requires I.P. changes and CC Cleaner, you'll probably want to use this as well. I found that in an average internet session I pick up about 7 LSO's.

thanks a lot there.

so far I've got normal cookies disabled and other privacy settings way up - but the flash cookies have always been tedious to remove (adobe website...)

i didnt know, i was always doing it the hardway. thanx for heads-up

Here's how to get rid of flash cookies forever (or until you reinstall Windows):

The target folder that is used to store the Flash ?cookies? is ?C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player?.

If you rename this folder to ?Flash Player.disabled? or delete it (your choice) and create a FILE (not a folder) called ?Flash Player? then Adobe can no longer recreate the ?Flash Player? folder because the name is already in use by a file.

The easist way to create this file is to right-click inside the ?\Macromedia folder and select the ?create text file? option naming it ?Flash Player? (not ?Flash Player.txt?).

It works because you can?t have a folder and a file in the same directory with the same name. Even a Flashplayer updates will not re-create the folder.

won't this work?
