I always update my Passwords every Month and put them into spreadsheet and diary to remember

I tested this app. Its very cool. But how do you trust these apps? I mean how can we know that the provider doesn't grab our passwords?

I have been using lastpass for around a few weeks now and so far it is a fresh of breath air. The last thing I want to do is remember or have to copy and paste a bunch of different passwords.
