Remembering 9/11....11 yrs on

RIP to all those people ... may world become peaceful soon

I was a sophmore in high school in first block. I remember when my teacher turned on the TV and when the second plane hit.. she said something like.. "if you believe in a higher power now is the time to pray".

I thank all the people on that horrible day that helped out, and all of our military.

That incident ignited political unrest almost everywhere in this world !!

I really find it nothing tragic the destruction of 2 towers, but I do for whole countries that US has destroyed for petrol.

Who ever does what so ever, innocents lost their life and many people are left in grievance that does matter a lot. Even in India we could not even forget the Mumbai blasts till now, every year hundreds of people are dying some where or the other in terror attacks. All are innocent people, may god rest their souls in peace... my deep condolences to their families

i impressed me deeply because i am working in aviaton. in total nearly 1.4 million people died because of this.

And because this affected me so much i got interested in the topic of who is responsible for this desaster and how it was done. And if you consider the facts it influence your whole world picture.

I'm sure most of us will never forget that day and what we were doing the moment we found out.

I was 13 and had just got in the door from school ( 3.35pm ) and the phone rang. It was my best friend.

" TURN ON YOUR TV NOW " - I did and regardless of what channel I turned to, it was those towers in flames. My Mum fell to her knees and my Dad was utterly speechless. I then spent the rest of that night with CNN on repeat watching under my covers. Terrifying.

I may be in the UK but the whole situation floored me. It was the first time I'd felt so afraid and sad for others and it taught me a lot about myself.

I still take a moment to myself each year to think of them.

Who cares who was behind the bombing (set aside all conspiracies), point being, lives were lost that were not meant to be lost. RIP victims of 9/11 and everyone in the aftermath of 9/11.
