When it is possible, under-promise and then over-deliver on your service or goods.

It can really build rapport, loyalty, and strengthen business relationships. And sometimes it can increase sales and differentiate you from competitors.

Im revisiting these things while doing business with a couple clients this week and it feels good to have a bit of extra time to put in my maximum effort to make them happy.

Feel free to share any experiences you are having

Under-promise and overdeliver may direct ricocheting straight into the world of mouth marketing, which is the top notch marketing, because it cancel the potential emotional barrier and push it further the potential orders. Smart!

underrated mindset, the gap between someone who hits exactly what they said and someone who quietly throws in a little extra is way bigger than people realize, ill usually toss customers extra days on their subscription if theres ever any issue on my end and i think it def helps keep them around

Absolutely agree. I have been following this rule for a long period of more than 5 years, & it brought positive results & feedback. I have made referral clients with this strategy by giving something premium with a delivery be it a website Audit, or a competitor's backlinks profile or a next plan of action. Since all these things require time to build, the buyer actually knows that I am invested my time & energy in to his project.

I agree with this one. Crucial thing in being successful.

That's a really simple and extremely effective strategy! You can even bake the overdelivery into your pricing model.

I always live by the principle of over-delivering. It surely strengthens the business relationship.

Also, transparency and being direct with the client is also very important.
