I’m looking for a reliable mass email sending service to handle large-volume campaigns with strong deliverability and detailed analytics. Right now, I’m mainly comparing iDealSMTP and SendGrid, but I’m unsure which one offers the better overall value.

I've never heard of idealsmtp, but $35 to send 50k emails is pretty cheap. With SendGrid, you pay $120. I've been using SendGrid for years (integration on my platform), but I've now downgraded my packages and am going to try idealsmtp.

If you want to send an email campaign with up to 50k emails for free, you can try Mailchimp (free trial = send the entire amount of the package). But they block accounts very quickly because they have a long list of topics that are prohibited.

For reliable mass email sending, both iDealSMTP and SendGrid are excellent choices, but they cater to slightly different needs. SendGrid is generally the industry standard for high-volume transactional emails and provides superior API integration and robust, detailed analytics, which is essential for maximizing delivery success rates.

iDealSMTP often appeals more to the Grey/Black Hat side due to its flexibility with content filtering, but its deliverability can sometimes be less consistent than SendGrid's strict standards. For professional, long-term, high-volume campaigns where detailed reporting and high inbox placement are paramount, SendGrid (or Mailgun/Amazon SES) offers the better, more scalable infrastructure and value.

Make sure to clean your list, platforms like SendGrid are against sending to cold lists

I'm using Resend because of the simple and clean interface.
It works fine connected to my aged domains . I use only domains with positive Spamhaus score.
I cannot evalute analytics because I'm not using them.

SendGrid is the safer, more mainstream choice with rock-solid deliverability for legitimate campaigns - they have excellent IP reputation management and detailed analytics, but they're strict about compliance and more expensive at scale.

iDealSMTP markets itself as more flexible with "bulk sending" which often means they're more tolerant of gray-hat campaigns, but that comes with higher risk of deliverability issues and potential account shutdowns if major ISPs flag their IP ranges.

For long-term legitimate business email, SendGrid or similar enterprise providers are worth the extra cost, but if you're doing anything remotely questionable, you'll probably get suspended quickly on the major platforms anyway.
