The old man is probably really strong and obviously, he will have lots of friends who will beat the shit out of your friend, so no, I would definitely not recommend going there to confront him. Maybe he can join them in a relationship where they all live together and love each other.

It's most likely that their 8 year old relationship became super stale and uninspiring, and as a woman, she saw the attention all women like and want and fell for it. It's either a phase or she really did find somebody more compatible. Whichever the case maybe, it's time for your friend to move on.

Sh*t happens...He should learned something from this. Now, he should move on and make a lot of money and buy a yacht and fill it with beautiful european chicks and made parties on his yacht in the Tyrrhenian Sea and sent her awesome instagram videos. She will regret later, wants to return to him, but he'll never forget what happened. He will live happy, because ( these days ) he moved on and now everything is like haven for him. Period. ..

Inbetween posting threads about beer, sneakers, Dubai, dancing and relationships..... maybe you need to learn not all 55 year old men are afraid of the younger generation.
 
Well, leave her, move on, just make sure the italian dude knows who he is in a relationship with and shat she threw away for it :)
 
Show dominance and fuck that Italian dude. Then both of them should dump the girl and live a happy life in the Italian countryside with wine and fresh tomatoes

Oh, right now I'm in Rome and no joke, I might know someone that knows the guy. I have friends that work in the same industry and pretty much everyone in this industry knows each other (directly or not).

How old is she?
