User generated content isn't necessarily bad. A lot of big websites rely on people's reviews and experiences. And I`m pretty sure that google spiders are smart enough to spot UCG in forum thread form and comments from the CMS.. but you're right, those links were already pretty hit, they'll get hit even more. Good thing you can create millions of them, right? (just a joke, I'm kind of using your technique tooI never said that spamming blogs with comments or forums or creating content on web 2.0 properties ... I said these would be "UCG" - user generated content tags which probably won't pass much link juice.
It's what I would do if I wrote guest posts (after all, the main reason is that ******** link)yea... maybe.
Sponsored it very helpful to Seo Ranking
I think that would take a LOT of education and I don't see that being done for this. Remember the push for SSL? That took every major company working together and hosting providers harassing their customers about going to SSL. Even then it was months after the deadline before it become an alleged ranking factor. There are too many sites out there and many that don't focus on SEO like we do and likely won't know about the tags.Do you see Google punishing site owners for NOT using these tags?
ThanksHere we go...
rel="sponsored": Use the sponsored attribute to identify links on your site that were created as part of advertisements, sponsorships or other compensation agreements.
rel="ugc": UGC stands for User Generated Content, and the ugc attribute value is recommended for links within user generated content, such as comments and forum posts.

It's just another way to determine link value. It seems as though it will go, in order of value - follow, nofollow, ugc, sponsored
