rel="license" Question

Hello Everyone!

Well this is my first post so if I'm in the wrong place to do so, please correct me.

I was wondering if having rel="license" is considered an external link. I have it as a Creative Commons link. Should I just change it to rel="nofollow" ? Or just leave as is and not worry about it?

Any Info would be appreciated

Anything? Anywhere I should look at to give me a general idea? I Googled about rel="license" but i never get anything relevant for this search...
