When a video says 'rejected (content inappropriate) does that mean it's been flagged by users, or it was taken down by youtube staff?

It could be the music that you used was copyrighted.

I ripped it from another user. However that user also ripped it from a major tv network yet he has over 150k views on it with no problems. What's up with that :x

Users themselves can't take a vid down.

But when enough users flag it the staff takes a closer look.

Yea Right the staff does not look at S**T they just take your video down. We need another youtube that google does not own.

Correct, its pretty sad actually, because if this happens, and you were totally innocent, youtube won't do anything about it. Send them an email won't do anything.

They should'nt take down a video if its got a certain ammount of flags, as there are flagging bots!

Courey is right, YT just deletes them when a prick or two flags a video.

Yea, I can agree with them, I too have been sabotaged by one or two pricks.lol
