Ok, I applied for the amazon affilitates program 6 months ago and I got access to the affiliate tools etc.

In the orig email it says i needed to have some qualifying sales in the next 180 days or else my account may get closed/rejected

Well, my process of builting website(s) was a frustrating one, and I am just now in the last 21 days building my first decent website.

wtoday, I got an email from amazon today saying that my account is rejected and i no longer have access to amazon associates central

they then told me that :

"You are free to reapply to the Associates Program at any time, but we recommend only doing so if your website receives consistent traffic."

Has anyone had this same issue?

I was in the same situation though I applied with my YouTube channel. After I managed to grow my channel I reapplied and they accepted it in 1 week.

Amazon is tightening up.

Add meaningful content on your site. Basically, provide value for your visitors.

And, re-apply.

keep applying. they dont blacklist your site even after rejected

Nothing new, that's just how they've been doing it.

Your website is not banned and instead of reapplying at this time, take the time to grow the traffic to at least 100 views/day and then you can reapply to the program.

With 100 views/day you're certainly going to make a few sales enough to get your account through the review and fully activated.

There was a golden time when none of these programs required approval. Back in the good old days the only programs which used to have the approval process were cpas. Just re apply when your site is up and bring in some social media traffic. They will approve.

They accepted me After 5 try

Had similar problems back when my sites weren´t established. Just concentrate on making your site as professional as possible and don´t be afraid to send it back for approval.
