Trust me and go for Neve pro.
It does require a few manual tweaking by inserting some additional css classes and hooks but other than that Neve has the perfect balance between good UI and customisation.

I use Neve pro (using the free addon I found on this forum) on my main site and it already looks almost 90% similar in layout to a very modern authority site in my niche (I did a few tweakings though).

GP is the best, but it has a learning curve. Astra is good with elementor. It all comes to what structure you adopt as an affilliate site. Review type or general basic info as a blog post with images embeded in them.
 
I don't understand the hype. I achieved even 95-98 with Avada and Flatsome. Both are my favorites. I don't find any need to switch to others.
 
In Ezoic they tell me that Generatepress is a bad template and slows down my site... to look for another alternative.
I really have been using GP for years and never had any problems, I think it is Ezoic that is the problem and not the template.
 
I've used Astra for a blog and it works well for SEO and customization. Rehub is also excellent for affiliate features and has a good design
