Is there a difference between mobile IP's and say a proxy IP that a person buys? The reason I ask is.. when I go on whoer.net and check my ip or proxys...I notice if I am using a hotspot it says its a mobile IP. Or if I hotspot off my phone again says its a mobile IP. So is there a difference between them?

    Thanks X

There is no such things mobile IP or Regular IP

They detect your useragent if you come from Mobile useragents are Mobile showing.

If come from Desktop pc it show desktop.

IP is same every where :)

When any connection is detected the ip , it filters it through its http headers where useragent type is specified , with useragents anyone can detect not only mobile ip but your browser type and other details which you can always spoof if you know the ways. :p
