Registrar/extension that will not budge with abuse reports.

Hello, I am looking for a registrar/domain extension to use that does not suspend my domains with false abuse reports (namecheap).

I am not hosting pirated content or anything like that but just want to be safe against competitors. I am looking for something under 35$ a domain as namecheap was only 10$.

Hosting and your register ICANN setup is different.

The easiest way for them to take down your website is for them to swipe your domain. So if you want to protect your domain from DMCA takedowns or other attacks from hostile entities, then you should setup your domains outside the reach of those entities. Many countries have their own domains that are not subject to the jurisdiction of other countries. Libya, China, RU, etc. They do not cost much, however you might need to submit identity documentation to register it.

E.g. A dot com address makes you vulnerable to whatever United States wants to do. They can seize or shut it down for almost ANYTHING.

If you just want resilient hosting, just find a private host in a relaxed country.

So from what I understand I need to get an offshore domain that is not a .com or TLD controlled by the US and offshore hosting and I will be good?

I am not hiding from the DMCA but rather basic abuse contacts on the WHOIS as someone got my domain taken down via abuse when I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
