Registering someone’s name

So here’s my question I found someone is a decent name and up and coming. Was shocked when I noticed they don’t have a website and the .com for their name is available. My question is if I register this .com do they recourse to sue for the domain or to acquire my info?

I don’t plan on using any images of them or there likeness

If it's a registered trademark, just ignore it. If not, grab it and trademark it.

Can you trademark someone’s name?

i guess one of my things i doubt they are the only person in world with that name. so can they really prove i did it because of them and they have claim to it?

if it's not a registered trademark, i dont see a reason why you couldn't buy the domain

I think that is not a fortune to invest in such domain name. I think there is some potential to earn some money on that.

You can buy the domain unless the person registered their name as a trademark. If they decide to sue you later on, it will be decided by a judge whether you can keep it or not depending on how believable you can claim that you chose the domain name to establish a brand that has nothing to do with the person.

one issue: trademark will take a lot of money. how much should someone sell it to get profit?
second issue: someone will think twice to buy that domain name. and just choose another domain extension.
