Hello everyone!

I'm about to create my new website. It is better to register a new domain or spend some time on research for already good one? Also dunno where to search them... Let me say I will have a website related to car niche. Can I buy a domain that contained other niche on it (e.g health) or it will be harmfull for me?

Sorry for this noobish questions.

Older domain is better considering it is very much related to your business. Generally older domain is bit pricey . If you have budget try to find out . A lot of sites are there who sells premium domain .

That's not a noobish question, it's a good one.

Existing domain names are hard to buy because you don't know whether they've been spammed to death in a previous life. You need some due diligence performed on the domain before buying it. If you're sure it's a brand new domain names(cuz old domains do return to the "new" pool after a while unregistered) you'll be starting from zero, but at least you know there's no spam history.

That's exactly what I was afraid of - spam. I will buy a new one :). Thanks for replies guys!

Check my signature, they have the best expired domains with high authority links and this can add value for your new site

For certain, new domains are better than old ones because they give you an opportunity to start with a clean slate. However, an old niche-related domain that has never been spammed will always beat a new website in the SERPs. But there is always an inherent risk because the domain might have been penalised without your knowledge.

Go with new domain, old domains are over priced, especially the really good ones, the cheap ones are not good domains anyway.
