Short answer, yes you can get free hosting somewhere (possibly with the place you register the name, possibly somewhere else). Longer answer, free hosting is very very very often worth what you pay for it if not less. It sucks. I recognise times are tough financially in general, but seriously, look at like hostgator with their 99 cents USD first month and then it's just like $10USD per month for the baby shared hosting, or there are other shared hosting for cheap. Look around the hosting forum for some deals. It's worth it. How you use the registered domain? Do you mean how do you point it to your hosting?
