I think I can post this question here - cant find a spot anywhere else
Joker for domain
jdrhosting for hosting
I cant for the life of me get joker to point that way..
I am not used to jokers setup...

jdrhosting gives me ns1-jdrhost-c*m(), ns2,ns3 ,ns4 ( "-" added instead of ".", i think this triggered the moderation bot)
but everything in joker requires an ip address

Through one of the FAQs at jdr, I was able to find 2 ip addresses in their tutorial (covers many domain services, but not joker LOL)
So now i have an IP address, but still not sure where it goes. I hate experimenting with domains due to the time frame 24hrs - 72hrs. So if i get it wrong i could be up to a week before I can reset it, and check it again.

Do I make A-RECORD? DYNA? CNAME?
And no I don't do much with manual registrars.

Both of these services have horrid support (jdr, joker, and I even have one on biohost - which no support either)- but I can do the majority of it on my own anyways, so not interested in the support end. but Domain stuff is foriegn to me.

If anyone can help that would be great! jdr will do it automatically for $8, but I want to do it, so I know how to do it in the future.

Thanks again...!

ps
I see this is triggering that moderation bot, not sure why, unless it is picking up the hosting names. as you can see, I am not spamming.. just need a suggestion on how to set up this domain to host with joker. thanks

Why don't you just move from them if they bother you so much?

From what I gather though, they are giving you the name server links you require, although the place you want to enter them in rquires an IP address. you can find the IP of a nameserver easily if you Google it, I'm sure. usually web hosts provide both.

change ur hosting. its very strange.. or register your own private ns by knowing ip of ur host. it works best.
