Hi guys ,

I am thinking to suggest a bit about linking in posts .

I have seen in several forums , when anybody post a link like this :

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...dmoz-listed-da-30-upto-60-100k-backlinks.html

It will be automatically converted in its original forum thread title like that :
Juggernaut Blog Network - PR2 - PR6 Dmoz Listed | DA 30+ upto 60+ 100k+ backlinks

That seems better than open url .

Also when anybody post any url of a site like his own site :
http://example.com

It will be automatically converted in that site's meta title like that :
Example Site's Meta Title

What you guys think about that ?

Admins is that possible to make like that ?

Cheers

Nice ...Your are best , i am kinda new here , but i have seen u helping lots of people , suggesting , Helping BHW to be More Better ! Keep up the Good Work ! Yea.. WarriorForum also has Same Feature ....

This isn't a bad idea for onsite links, but it's terrible for offsite links. If you think about it for a second I'm sure you'll figure out why.

Great idea, ive seen this on forums like aspkin, could see this helping a lot here.

I understand it about offsite links.

But if we can do this only for onsite links ?

Any custom plugin etc which will do only onsite links , it will be better

I'd be annoyed if my links were autoformatted for me. I like naked URLs.

One of the virtues of a site with user generated content is that there are so many styles, so much diversity. The more we make posting uniform, the more we lose that.

I like when title is on URL place.

At least i know what im clicking, it would be pretty cool

Yea onsite maybe, but my naked URL i'd still prefer
Yeah but normally naked URLs don't tell as much as titles do. :thumb:

Enjoy ..... :cool2:

since there are potential issues with automatically setting the link title, it would be best to just have the poster manually decide what the link title should be... which is already the case.

all you have to do is type the title in, then select it, and click the link button.
