yes a isp check all data flow , but will only give reports if under court action.
every single website you goto is logged and anythink uploaded and downloaded .
facebook and google will keep logs of anythink written on there browser or service.
it can only be used when your under investigation, ordered via a court .
if your under watch some cases they packet sniff in and out data and traffic for everdence, usally a simple car outside your home and laptop but with a funny looking areail on top of car .
a vpn hiding your ip mean shit if it leaks traffic or data can still be sniffed out , also most vpn gather reports and have been used in court cases .
do the crime do the time (( no good crying if you get involved in doggy shit))

tor browser is not safe at all and used in crimes online , the fbi can crack any part of tor to use in a investurgation .

They can - at least - see all your DNS requests if you use the standard DNS servers from your ISP. That way they can see all domains you visit. Of course, they can also intercept all your unencrypted traffic (e.g. HTTP - not HTTPS) and some ISPs use this to inject code into your browser to show ads etc.

Not true, they can sit at an exit node or try to follow you if you're stupid enough to turn scripts on, but they won't know shit if you use it as it's supposed to be used.

No, they don't work with tor. All the browser has loophone. FBI somehow can install malware on user's PC by taking advantage of exploit in tor or any other browser.
