For those of you who have been a webmaster for decades

How do you deal with every core update?

i have been a webmaster for a year and based from my observation whenever i gained traffic, it somehow fluctuates in the next update - and recover in the next and so on.

maybe most of you will say just keep doing what i'm currently doing.

but i can't help but read those core update threads/post and most of the response is getting me demotivated (ie. seo is dead, blogging is dead etc.).

just need a little motivation and some thoughts from seasoned webmasters.

PS "may core update" slightly hit my site btw.

We ignore each core update and build quality content.

Just keep on writing unique stuff, add backlinks that’s it

Sometimes update happens unexpectedly, don't worry about it. Keep adding valuable content for user,Build few relevant links and keep the site active.

Don't rely on one site. Update may hit one and leave the others.

You need to learn to adapt with them. See what works now and take some actions. For ex: parasites are the shit now, so just build them and rank them instead of relying on your dear moneysite.

Seo is unpredictable. Just like life. It's full of difficulties and disappointment. Change your mindset by countering the negative thoughts with the positive ones.

Audit frequently, Always avoid all possibility of penalty
Don't panic for if position change after the update
Build quality backlinks, Always chase your competitor's strategies
Create user engaging content frequently
Be patient and never quit doing it
