Cracked the screen on my baby here but have an offer on a 10 Pro that can't be turned down.

What would you guys suggest I drop on the device after wiping it and locking it down, to get myself say €450 for a years rental to leave it plugged in and sell to someone that's trusted and safe to work with?

I'm reading up on safety concerns for a start, wanting to install something to monitor my batteries health.

I can install the likes of Termux and Python on the device really easily, install that proxy.py then get it listening to my device with basic auth

This is where I get a bit confused because I'm 50/50 on what people will actually be doing unless I stick to vetting a sole client... I love GCP, AI is telling me to set a tunnel up from an instance to the phone, create a heavily restricted Linux user, then it'd be SSH'ing from the device using Termux facing the GCP instance

Then it's just handing across access through SSH I'm sure

Just when it comes to rotating proxies, what's up with having to keep it connected to my PC; can't I just use Termux too to work away on the device, flicking on a python script to mess with airplane mode so that things rotate, then I can create a webhook of sorts to give the end user the option to select when things need moving?

Am I right in saying I could hook this into a raspberry pi rather than my personal PC? Do we think I could sell this to one of the boys for €450 for a year?

A whole new kettle of fish here for me, but with the new job I have "lined up", these are the kinds of communication operations I need under my belt... Ten years ago...

Let me know if I'm being a silly goose please, Ive got the year of unlimited data funded, ideally just want the €450/yr for a Pixel 10 Pro and one out of twelve of my driving lessons

For nice access to Ireland's networks

AI all over the place until I post something

Must be my Dublin-eze, back into the shadows with me x

Not silly at all but I think you're making it way more complicated than it needs to be for €450/yr . Technically yeah, you could do most of this off Termux / a Pi and not keep it tied to your PC. I’d just be careful renting out access to your own SIM/IP, if someone does something stupid, it’s still your connection attached to it. If it was me I’d keep it to one trusted person and keep the setup simple.

Thank you dude, you're spot on with your last line

I ended up fearful of my own device, "set up" rotating Cloudflare workers with FlareGun and rotating proxies on Cloudflare D1 using AI at 3Am out of sheer fear of the future

Similar ajax webhook rotation, just using EmDash and Cloudflare to lock everything down

Stripe has me kicking myself though

You guys think pricing is fair?

I would call 450 euro a year fair only if it is one trusted client and very low touch. If you still have to babysit battery, uptime and access, I would want more or I would just keep the phone. The margin disappears fast once there is any drama.
