    Hi Guys,

Recently My site got fist page in goolgle for the selected keyword . But I would like to udate the site for some other related keyword.

I would like to know if it will affect the orginal keyword ranking , if i update the content in the home page by Maintaining the existing article and adding more content to it . And also will it affect the orginal keyword rank if add a separate post with out editing the current home page which ranks for my keyword.

    Thanks
    Bob

I don't think it will hurt it at all....I wouldn't be alarmed if it did the google dance for a couple of days, but it will definitely settle back down in its rightful position:)

I would suggest adding a separate post. That way is safer.

    Thats good advice from chick.alive.:)

All the engines love fresh original content.

A separate post is possibly the easiest/safest/most effective way to go:
target new keyword - add new article/content to your site for that keyword

no need to update home page (unless you need to)
    :)
