It makes perfect sense, but then they shouldn't put 'no questions asked' in the refund policy. If the creator is sure in his knowledge and his course, he should give 0 fucks and refund only if there is a really strong reason.

uh no youre just looking to scam. Refunds are not meant for scammers, they are meant for dissatisfied customers. Obvioulsy you can lie, youre just a dick. If you cant affford the course, you should not be focused on buying it, but making money otherwise, getting a job, or using the many free methods here.
Someone scamming $50 or whatever for a course is not likely to succeed anyway tbh in implementing anything they learn lets be real.

Your original question was if it was a dick move to do it. I think the general consensus is that it would be a total dick move unless the product sucked.
If the seller believes in their product they should offer a no hassle or no questions asked refund. But what it looks like you plan to ask for a refund even if the product is great. This is a total dick move.
Some how you seem to have it justified in your mind that this is okay, well its not.

From a practical point of view and not looking at this just morally, you know that when you have to earn something you value it much more than when you get it for free.Only if you believe in karma.
I found a good course but it costs $600, and that's the only reason.
You're a moderator, I can't quote messages, but reply buttons works fine.

That makes sense, I think it's a moral question.
If you have to save $600 to buy this course, you'll care about learning the concepts within it and will want to get your money's worth. If you get a $600 course for free (because you steal it essentially) then think about how much less likely you are to a) finish the course, and b) actually use it to benefit you in any real way.

I’m in similar situation - bought „amazing guide” at another forum which was just list of crap pasted chaotically into pdf, unlike selling thread at forum which was pretty designed & promising - also seller promised „refund without any questions after 30 days”.
I’m going to take this refund but first I will spend some time to prove that none of these methods work - maybe that will result in $$ then? I will be really surprised.
That will be really stupid if I would give it up and apply for a refund just only after reading guide and not taking any action - but I got a reason - content I’ve bought was artificially inflated with a fancy forum thread post but inside it Was totally crap - public free methods from around 2008-2010 pasted into one file and named „You can earn money with it”.
I’m really dissatisfied but I think that I still need to prove that I’m deserving a refund.
I’m going to take this refund but first I will spend some time to prove that none of these methods work - maybe that will result in $$ then? I will be really surprised.

If you use your brain instead of your emotions, you'll benefit the same. I see that there are many things on bhw shared for free, and a lot of people benefit from it.
I guess you're not a 6-year-old girl so you'll work more only if you spent some money.

My dear Bart, I know that I'm stupid, but not that much to think nobody did it before me.
As I said earlier, just for my curiosity, I sent an e-mail to the owner of the course, with a straight-up question and he said it's okay but not a great attitude to join the course. I think the same thing. We wished each other to have a good day and that's it.

No, I won't do it, but imagine someone that has $50 for hosting and domain (SEO course for example), and deeply wants this course. He has 2 options: 1st one is to get the fuck up and start working somewhere and save that money to buy it so can later make some money with SEO, or do something like this and save 2 months of hard work (3rd world countries monthly salary).
