I know this will sound a little evil. I am sorry.

If I use referrer spam, but use a site I hate as the referer, will it eventually impact their organic listings? Do I need to use HideMyIP?

What's the best tool? Magic Traffic Bot is out there for free, any others? PRStorm? (not sure how to get this one anymore) I just have site (a small company) that is on my sh*t list and want to teach a nasty BH lesson.

Other tips for causing a webmaster headaches but in a way that is easy and automated... xRumer their ass? Release some of their email addresses to the BH spammers here??

I am not ready just yet for a preemptive strike, but I am getting close...

    Advice?

bro...why not just spend that time and effort making your site better instead of trying to down on their site?

if you surpass them in quality of SEO or whatever you'll do 5x more damage to their site anyway you know? i know the idea of a frontal assault on a competitor sounds cool and all, but i think your time is better spent on toning your own page.

I would generally agree with you.

I forgot to mention that this is not a site that I am in competition with. They are just a company that burned a friend, and I thought a little BH "spank" might be in order. Their ego is way bigger than their brain -and heart.

Convince them to buy some service your offering for a couple thousand bucks. Make sure they agree to a bogus "no guarantee" TOS. then run off into the sunset a little richer.

LOL. I like this idea! But I would rather stay completely anonymous...flip the "go to hell switch" on them, then just get on with my regular life and work, and never look back.

I was thinking about it, I am just not sure that it might accidentally help them...

If I could only get their domain spammed on XXX forums and bogus link farms that would be cool. Right now, I'm leaning towards a huge PRStorm to adult sites and hate sites.

Maybe in the AM I will chill and forget about them, but for now they're still an itch I want to scratch,

If it was possible, everyone would be doing it. Many people say attempts like what you suggest are just discounted by google, so they don't gain anything but don't lose anything either.

Makes sense. Focus on developing your site and forget about trying to destroy somebody elses, you're silly if you think google has not ever considered this.

Yeah I wouldn't say it's worth the hassle you won't hurt them as much as you think unless you do it real BIG.
