If I send an email to someone with a link to a landing page, which has an image link to a CPA offer, and the user clicks on this image link, will the CPA network see the email server as the referrer? Or will it come up as blank?

In general, do CPA networks see referrers for impressions of their banners or just clicks?

if the link is clicked from an email which is opened in a webmailer service like hotmail the cpa company is going to see hotmail as reflink. you should fake the reflink or at least "clean" it with a double meta refresh.

Does anyone know what the best solution would be if you are running 25+ offers possibly spread across different CPA networks? Do I have to get a different domain for each offer to do the DMR?

If you have many offers you dont need to run multiple sites to use DMR. All you need to do is tweak your favorite DMR script to be a bit smarter. Search for a script on this site as there are many around, and if you are a bit crafty with php or C# or whatever language you use its possible to filter all your offers through the same script.

Change the script to accept an offer identifier. Each identifier would map to an offer url.

For example if the urls in your emails are as follows:

    dmr.com?i=1
    dmr.com?i=2

Then your DMR script would read the query string parameter to figure out what offer to redirect to. i=1 would redirect to offer #1 and i=2 would redirect to a completely different offer.

If you dont want to do this then you can pass a redirect url query string parameter on to the DMR script. Then it can redirect to any url you wish, all while strippping the referrers.

I hope you get the idea. Its actually fairly simple, and this way you dont need 25 domains for 25 offers.

    If this is your setup:

Email -> Landing Page -> Offer

Then they will see the last thing the person clicked to get to the offer, which would be your landing page.

DMR the links for extra protection if you like.

    Good luck $$$$ :sombrero:
