Reference links on blogs

I've been trying to create reference links from blogs to my site and it hasn't been working i don't know what I'm doing wrong can anyone help

What problem you are facing exactly and how you create the links?

when trying to create the link on the web page it gives me different information to imput [FONT=Open Sans, arial, sans-serif]"Article Tittle" "Article URL" Article Excerpt (optional)" "Site Name" "Site URL (optional)" and lastly "Authors Name" i dont know what is the correct link code to put in the Article URL or maybe im supposed to put other information in one of these options and im not. I dont know what the problem is. Ive tried putting different link codes such as A href...and http..or just www and they dont work. Maybe u can create an example of the correct information into these spots to create a referance link (not comment link) [/FONT]

You better try with anchor text[FONT=courier, courier new, monospace]. Like this [/FONT]<a href="url">Anchor</a>.

Ive tried that even tried again just now and it creates a link but not to my site. When i click on the link i created it goes to a new page from the site i created the link on and it says page not found

Article URL is the only spot i need to put a URL correct?
