Reduce the spam score and its impact in SERP

I have bought an old domain, it has good DA and many backlinks from good sources but some backlinks are toxic. The spam score is 66%. I have found those toxic in Semrush.

1- Should I disown those backlinks GSC?
2- How can I reduce spam score it in Moz ?
3- Is it a bad domain and would it have -ve impact in Google ranking?

could be the redirects causing some issues mate .

You should be able to disavow in Moz just like in GSC.

Removing off the links can have positive impact if they are really toxic and identifies correctly.

Unfortunately that is easier said than done. Spam scores can be very misleading.

Try SEMrush spam score too. I'm not heavy user myself but I'm hearing it is more accurate Moz's.

If you obtain links from a domain with toxic links, it can negatively impact your website. Therefore, first submit those toxic links to the Google Disavow tool to remove these spammy backlinks. After that, focus on building new, high-quality links and adding fresh content to reduce the spam score.

I recommend disavowing toxic backlinks in Google Search Console, improving content quality, and building high-quality backlinks to reduce your domain's spam score and enhance its overall health.
