Hello, i am currently running a niche content site and it has very high bounce rate, the average engagement time is <1minute. Can someone help me improve on this? Why are people not interacting with the website? What can i do so that people actually watch the content?

High bounce rate usually means the content or layout isn’t matching user intent. Try improving intro hooks, adding visuals, breaking long paragraphs, and interlinking related posts. Also check page speed — slow sites lose visitors fast.
 
Maybe people don’t stay because the first screen doesn’t hook them, check your design flow and how fast it feels.
