This may sound like such a noob question, but hell, I don't know php, I don't use wordpress, I do know some html, and some java.

Can't I just have a page redirect with an html redirect code, or a java redirect code?

Most people want to hide their traffic sources. If you don't want or need to hide them, then yes you can.

how wouldn't this hide my traffic source? it'd be set up like this.......my blog > blog page redirects to > CPA offer.

so wouldn't it work the same way? if I wanted couldn't I just send traffic to "my blog page url" and it would redirect it to the CPA offer? In my mind it would make it to where the click still came from "my blog page" URL, maybe it wouldn't, I dunno.

You mean like faking the referrer highrider778? When I first read your original post I thought you just wanted to find out how to redirect heh.

I think it would definitely work to spoof the ref this way. You can always do a test to see if your ref is coming from the site you want it to by uploading a few ref check files onto your server. Send traffic to your blog, redirect it to your refcheck, check to see where the ref is coming from. If it shows it from your blog then you've got it!

Also, Barbacaminitu released a free referrer spoofer so you might want to check that out...

basically yeah, faking the referrer, lol. well I don't know how to redirect with php, so I was just thinking, why can't I use a java script to redirect, or html code to redirect a page onto my cpa offer(s)
