Redirection virus in theme?

Hello

I am using pro adult magazine theme for my wordpress porn site and it seems like the theme has a virus or something embedded in it.

My website is redirected to some random adult ads or virus warning screen and this only happens on a mobile phone.

This redirection thing happens on different mobile phones as well so I know that it is not my mobile phone that got infected with virus.

I've also tried a couple of different wordpress themes and there was no redirection problems with my website on mobile phones.

So I think it must be the theme itself that does this redirection.

So this is what happens. I go to my website on mobile phone and it loads as normal then a few seconds later, I see 'appofteroad.com' then I am redirected to adults ads or virus warning screen.

Can anyone please help me with this? I've already looked at header.php and footer.php and am not really sure what I am looking for.

that's probably a browser redirect virus, scan it with an antivirus simple as that and i would suggest you to change your user and pass

Thank you for the response. I've already scanned my mobile phone with anti virus program and nothing has been found. I've also scanned my website using online security tool and nothing has been found.

The redirection thing only happens with my website and when I browse other sites on my mobile phone, it never happens.

I tried my website on different mobile phones and it still gets redirected. So I don't think it is my phone that has a virus.

As mentioned above, when I use a different theme, it doesn't get redirected. It only happens with this adult pro magazine theme on mobile phone.

I could just change the theme and forget about this but I spent so much time and energy in order to make my website look good using this theme and it works great on desktop//laptop.

I have few nooby advice.
1) Download theme to PC and try to find with Notepad++ = "appofteroad.com"
2) If this is not first redirect try to found it with online services like "redirect-checker-org" etc. Than again try to find it in theme with Notepad++
3) After if you can't find any links in your theme try to search keyword "base64". Redirect can be coded.
4) You check only header.php. More often they put a redirect in functions.php or some .js files
5) If you have not result yet try to install Antivirus plugin and TAC

If you can't do it by yourself pay 10-15$ for someone who can make it with 20min.

If the theme is nulled then it probably has some nasties included with it. No point wasting time with a nulled theme, buy the original or use a free theme.

Hi I can't remember how I got the theme in the first place. I didn't pay for it.....I've scanned my website with sucuri site check and nothing has been found.

I've just loaded my site on mobile phone and now the redirection is through topoffertrack and traffic-c. Horrible.

Send me a PM with your site.

Would be happy to take a look at it for no free.

Spend money for an official theme. $39 or so. Will at least save you time and efforts.
