    Hi all,

I have a quick question. Assume I found a really good expired domain. Checking the way back I found nothing other than the original website.

However, at the very end, there is a 301 redirect nothing else.

    Would you buy this?

I think I ditch lots of exp-doains because of redirects.

    Just want to understand

    thanks

Buy it. Put it back online and wait to see if it comes back alive. If it does, it's clean. Your risk is U$ 10.

Domains that redirect to another site is fine for me unless they were redirected for SEO purposes or redirected to a site that is unrelated to the original website.

It shouldn't be a problem. Not to mention, that many domains get redirected to parking page if it's not directly hosted. Check the hosting history and you will be 100% sure what kind of redirect it was. However, I wouldn't be too afraid of 301 redirects in the domain history. 95% of the time they are fine.
