    Hi all

Today I discovered, that even thought I had redirected my affiliate link, through a domain of my own, the correct refferal page still showed up on my affiliate account.

Now in this case, luckily, its not a problem, as its a totally whitehat affair, and the redirect was soley for aesthetic purposes.

However, I have some BH plans afoot, and require a blank referrer/masked referrer. Should i simply put in an extra layer of redirection in, thus

ww .sub. mydomain .com redirects=====> to ww.sub2 . mydomain .com redirects=====> to aff link

will this then show one of my domains as the referrer, or will it simply skip is it has been immediately redirected?

I have no idea about using codes on pages to redirect, i simply use the redirect function in my cpanel.

    any help/answers greatly appreciated

You need to alter how you do your redirects. I believe cpanel redirects are just 301/302 redirects. Most browsers handle these redirects by keeping the original referrer intact.

Most people blanking their referrer are using javascript to do the redirects.

I agree, a cpanel redirect is insufficient. Look into doing an Html Meta Refresh. If you do two of these there is almost no chance a referrer is going to leak. good luck
