Hi,
About a month ago I noticed Google was selecting my Medium.com articles as the canonical url to show so wasn't indexing some pages, even tho on Medium it was done via imported stories where Medium add the proper tags to stop this from happening but from reading about I saw Google can still override it.
So I deleted my Medium blog as I did not want this to happen, however even though they are recrawling the affected pages they are still selecting the Medium page as the main one even tho they no longer exist and are 404's.
How do I fix this? I Do I just wait? GSC when recrawling some of my pages are still selecting Medium even tho those urls do not exist
