Redirect 301 Domains to MS o Tier?

Hi,

I just purchased a couple of old expired domains with high DA/PA and redirected them with a 301 to my MS, 1 per blog but I wonder if this is a good idea or if I better make the 301 to my Tier 1 (blogs 2.0)

What's your experience with expired domains and 301?

If the backlink profile and domain history of the expired domains are clean, I wouldn't use them on a web 2.0 buffer.

My experience is that spending an extra hour building a domain on the expired domain and placing valuable contextual links rather than just 301ing a whole domain does much better. But adding a few extra expired 301's to innerpages to mix things up also is also good for diversity

My experience is not to go too crazy with them...Sounds like you have that under control though. If you want to be safe it would be best to point them over to your Tier sites. That's probably what I would do.
