Hello peeps. I found one domain that i would like to buy. I typed it in godaddy and its taken. I checked whois and it expired 15 of may. I googled a bit and found out that redemption period is 30days and after that domain is free for sale. It passed way more than 30 days. Anyone can tell me what is happening? i also checked on other domain website and its same thing. Thanks

By the time I replied to this, it may be ready to drop from the pending delete phase (it comes after the redemption period). If it is registered at Godaddy, then you should have ordered a Domain Back Order and/or bid on it at namejet or snapnames.

Here is what will happen. Godaddy will register the domain in their account and then charge you for a "premium" domain at $x,xxx unless you pay for a back order. Good Luck

Redemption Period is a period after domain renewal grace period. If you want to take a domain on redemption period, you'd better place a backorder on it. There is no luck registering a domain after the redemption period

Do a who is and look at when the domain was last update for example one domain I will register was update onL

Which means that in 30 days it will be dropped by the registrar, unless it is Godaddy sometimes things get funky with them. Good luck, A
