Let say you hit the front page on both of these website, wich website will bring your more traffic?
I think it's Digg
You can buy the sponsored post on Reddit for way cheaper
Basically you enter in a daily spend and then you get a share of traffic relative to how much everyone else spent that day.
Spend $20 and everyone else combined spends $100 you get 20% of the traffic. Spend $20 and everyone else combined spends $1000 you get 2% of the traffic
My clients usually want me to hit them Digg frontpage, Because when they hit Digg FP, someone from Reddit, quickly submits it there as well, Just to increase his karma(reddit points).
It has to be from Digg.
After the redesign of digg (diggv4).. they lost 30% of their traffic.
Most of the digg users migrated to reddit because of change.
Now when i hit fp on digg i get around 40000 visitors.
However when i hit fp on reddit, i get between 60000- 80000 visitors..
Thanks for these stats!
I guess it really depend on the story tho... Am I right?
So, there's any service that help us gain FP of digg or readdit ? I want to know about pricing !
yeah you are absolutely right..
It depends on content..
However as compared to reddit and digg now.. i would say reddit is more powerful..
Like once my submission was on reddit fp as well as digg fp
From digg i got around 60000 (over 1500 diggs) however same on reddit got me 90000 visitors..(around 5000ups and3000 downs)
I would say reddit is more powerful now..
Just understand what they like.. you will rule socialmedia then
PS: 60000 was the best i got from digg and 90000 from reddit
hm.. well its not that hard.. however takes some time to understand it..
However if you want to pay people charge 20$ to 100$ per submission.
Hm.. i think i will post a socialmedia guide soon [reddit, stumbleupon, digg, delicious, yahoo].
I have killed 6 dedicated servers,7 vps plan servers, and 15 shared hosting by socialmedia traffic..
I m ex-socialmedia guy
i have been reading this forum from some time.. and this forum helped me a lot..
I will post the guide when i get time..
Waiting for your guide
if anyone wants to invest into reddit bot (for mass account creation and voting)
beep me, i have a bit of free time for coding
still cofused about digg and reddit
