Reddit: Upvotes & Karma [Ratio between them]

Hello everyone.

I know there are some situations where the ratio of upvotes and karma on a post are not 1 = 1. But I'm having a problem.

Yesterday, I gave free upvotes to new posts from BHW members, and I noticed that only the first 6-9 counted in post karma.

I gave 25 upvotes to each post. On average, they increased 6-9 post karma.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Problems with some accounts. If a given account upvotes too much recently, their votes will stop counting for a while. Account age and karma helps mitigating this.

You have bad accounts. Or bad upvotting solution
