My automation setup used to pull consistent traffic from subreddit posts and comments, but since the API policy updates, engagement has tanked. Tried switching proxies and accounts, no luck. Anyone figured out how to adapt to the new Reddit throttling rules?

I think the only way is to mimic real browsing behavior, full automation is basically dead for now.

Some have had success cross-posting related to communities manually to recover lost engagement.

Yeah, Reddit shut down a lot of what used to work. Pretty much everyone is seeing similar drops. The old methods for gaining visibility there aren't effective anymore. You'll likely need a completely new strategy. Instead of trying to force content, focus on genuinely helpful posts and comments in relevant communities. Or consider exploring other platforms entirely. There's no simple trick to overcome this; it's a fundamental change in their system.
